Exporting restriction (Outside of USA)
Hi,
Any of you know which countries have relatively relaxed export policy on rifle brass and bullets???
I'm trying to get some 300WSM brass for a friend of mine who runs a shooting range/gunshop but exporting from the U.S. would cost too much since the quantity will be rather small. It's not worth getting an export license for so few brass.
I am wondering if it would be easier from Europe, Australia, or New Zealand.
Thank you!

I don’t know what you need but from here I could simply put it in a box and ship it.

Understandable, rifles in general are pretty scarce in Japan.
I'm soft and I don't care.

We do have AR15/10, FAL, valmet, veper, M1A and stuff in Japan but those all use pretty popular calibers in Japan.
some less common calibers get popular for a very short burst once in a while like 260rem, 6mmBR, and stuff but the big importers will only import major caliber brass like 30-06, 308, 300 wm.

In the USA right now the Trump admin is about to relax ITAR restrictions and USML restrictions, at least this is the word on the street. We are all waiting with eager eyes to see if this will materialize in the next few weeks. I don't know if it relaxes the brass and powder restrictions, but if ITAR passes from DOD back to commerce it will be a big thing in terms of exporting gun parts to other countries.

Try googling Gunworks in NZ. Robbie has Norma .300 WSM brass.
