Congratulations, looks like you've found a good load for your 8x57IRS. I don't know how familiar you are with the 160gr TTSX but IMHO and experience it's a real good bullet for the 8x57.

A bit more development and it might group tight
But I'd be more then happy with that

Re: K95 8x57IRS 160gr TTSX
I am not familiar with the TTSX in 8mm at all, only 130 & 150s out of a 308.I don't know how familiar you are with the 160gr TTSX but IMHO and experience it's a real good bullet for the 8x57.
If all goes well this weekend I may get to give them a test on a decently sized animal.
Cheers,

Re: K95 8x57IRS 160gr TTSX
Dinger,
Those TTSX AND TSX are death and beyond to any animal that crosses their path. They really perform as long as the velocity is high. I recently used the 130 grain TSX out of my BD14 30-06 barrel at 3185 FPS muzzle velocity to drop a wild boar and sow with one shot at around 130-150 yards. It broke four shoulders and penetrated around 24 inches of hog muscle then kept going.
