In my experiences the 9.3X62 is the sledgehammer of death with many bullets. It isn’t demanding of premium bullets but they do work well. Even the garden variety cup and core bullets like the Lapua 286 Mega and PPU copy do an excellent job. But the Nosler 286 Partition leaves no room for doubt and the Nosler 250 AccuBond is a flatter shooting but equally argument ending bullet. I haven’t been too impressed with the monolith bullets but they also kill well, just a little slower or a lot slower depending on range and impact velocity.
Heavier than 286 is good, lighter than 286 is good. The 9.3X62 is a great caliber with a wide range of impact velocities and bullet constructions. That is the magic.

I think that can be said of any of the 9.3's.

None really have long legs but they handle any game you care to point them at from small to big.
