Nosler just did another run of 250 grain Accubonds. This is a seasonal run so get them while you can. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/18096 ... uct-button

Thanks Bob.
I bought my small supply many years ago, soon after they were introduced, and they have been as rare as rocking horse droppings in Aus. ever since.
Hopefully some of the seasonal run will make it to Australia.

Hi Bob, can you please recommend a very accurate load for the 250 grain Accubond with ADI powder or the Hodgen equivalent if you have one?
Not sure if IMR4895 is a ADI powder?
Thankyou Allan.

Hi Allan,
Unfortunately my loading notes are all in Florida, and I'm in Arizona. However, H4895 is an ADI powder, it is AR2206H. So the load data here is a good one.

Hi Bob, I just noticed your load at the start of this thread is IMR4895 not H4895.
I understand H4895 is AR2206H, but is IMR4895 the same powder as IMR4895?
Are they interchangeable?
Thanks Allan

Ususally the IMR powders are sourced from General Dynamics (formerly DuPont) but I’m not sure currently. I wish I had access to my load notes as I’m sure I developed an H4895 load also. I prefer the Hodgdon (ADI) version if I have my fathers. I’m sure you could work up a load with AR 2206H that would equal or exceed this load.

Re: 9.3X62 Nosler 250 Accubond
Looks like you might have grabbed some those 250 ABs that Rebel had 9.3 ? Well done
Yep. Bob did develop an H4895 load with the 250 AB, I remember seeing it here somewhere a while ago. In his short semi weight fluted IIRC. It will still be on the board somewhere.
I have used 2208 with the 250 AB in my standard length R93. Stupid small groups. Just running on memory again, but velocities for Bob's load and for mine were very similar.
I had 2206 (NOT 2206H) recommended to me when I got my first 9.3 approx 20 years ago, but it simply would not give me any speed with 286s. A mildly compressed load of Nobel's O got us comfortably past factory velocity with 286s, albeit with pretty snappy recoil.

I will have a look for Bob's load in the load database.
I did not buy those 250 Accubonds at Rebel, but I was going to buy them.
I hope they get more soon.
