Re: What is in your backpack for LRH
Mine is just about the same but I use the gunrunner pack just to keep myself from bring gear I don't need I don't use a spotting scope just my binos and I also carry a PLB and first aid gear for them lovely snakes we have, as well as a gps and a small video camera. The rest is the same. I will up grade to the gunslinger 2 once the new build is done as it want fit in the gun scabbard
Measure it, when it’s on the deck

Re: What is in your backpack for LRH
Mine is the Outdoorsman's Optics Pack. I really like it because it will stand upright on it's on and has a rifle rest built in to the frame for use from the sitting position. I don't use that beyond about 200 or maybe 250 yards. Beyond that I go to the Outdoorsman's rest mounted on the tripod.
Items in the photo are:
Otdoorsman's Optics Pack
Swarovski 15X56 Binoculars with tripod mount for locating game at long range, really long range
Swarovski 2X eye piece that fits the 15X56 binoculars turning it into a 30X spotting scope for trophy judging/aging
Swarovski 7X30 Binoculars for use on the stalk
Leica 1600CRF range finder
Schmidt & Bender lens maintenance kit
Outdoorsman's Tripod with fluid pan and tilt head
Outdoorsman's Rifle Rest with quick connect to mount on tripod
Leatherman multi tool
Havalon Piranta knife and spare blades
First aid Kit
Water filter
Titanium cup with survival kit, fire starting, whistle, GPS, etc
Coleman Pre-moistened wipes
Not pictured, I forgot to pull it out of one of the pockets is a Petzel LED head lamp and spare batteries.
