New Kahles Scope

Post by Corjack » Tue Nov 08, 2016 5:51 pm

Finally got my Kahles scope today. I was sent a SKMR3, but wanted a SKMR2. I will just keep it, an order 2 after the first of the year. I am going to try and get Trazman to come over and shoot a PRS match with me next year, and I will need two of them.

Ah, Christmas tree.

I'm leaning towards a Nightforce with a IHR just for simplicity

Very nice indeed Ron. Looked through a Kahles at recent long range meet and the optics were stunning.

Best I can tell they are exactly the same. The 2 just does not have the tree.

I can see why you want the 2 - who is the current distributor in USA?

Swarovski will distribute in the US, effective the first of the year.

2 shots in the same hole is often luck......3 in the same hole is using Olsens shooting stick....

Nice purchase Corjack!

I'm curious, from the info I have read on PRS, having the tree would be preferred for follow up shots during the periods where you might miss call the wind or hold the wrong elevation... Especially during timed events where you may not have a huge amount of time to dial in a correction.

What are your thoughts mate?

Id rather the 2 as well, less clutter to get lost in.
I know I can't aim off withca Christmas tree, I keep trying to count and figure out where I'm supposed to be aiming.

Some guys use the 2 and just do hold overs, but it would not be as precise.

I tend to agree, I'd be trying to reach the highest level of precision I could. You may find it to suit your application of PRS shooting perfectly... if not, I'm sure Speedy will gladly take it off ya hands ;)
