Bullet Test

Post by Corjack »

Interesting test. They tested 30 caliber bullets. I wonder what the test would of looked like if they had used a 6.5 bullet, and kept the min impact velocities at 1800 fps?

That's a good read. I haven't heard good things about the new hornady line as yet. It's been very mixed regarding them. The accubonds are a great pill but lack the BC like berger's.Ive never been a fan of Barns as they need bone to be affective and their BC is really average. I know the berger's work well at short range and long range. Close range they just blow them up and at long range they also blow them up.

I would like to see that done with the A-max, Nosler BT and similar rounds on the more standard rounds
I'm soft and I don't care.

im using the Amax in my 243 and they make a mess as well but not as dramatic as the berger's do. Still good fun on bunnys and foxes :D

I'd like to see them on bigger game, a test of the A-max, BT along with normal old classics like the corelok and interlok etc.
