R8 Success custom picatinny rail

Post by icebug » Sun Jun 24, 2018 12:06 am

I've asked a local gunsmith to make me a custom picatinny rail for my R8 Success stock, now I can mount my Atlas bipod on it for prone shooting (hunting).
I've tried the Vertebrae picatinny rail mounted instead of the sling stud, but wasn't impressed. This is much much better and sturdier.

Nice! I've considered a rail myself, but not sure about it yet.

I currently have one Harris for shooting from a sitting position and am waiting for another one for shooting from prone.I'm actually pleased with my harris but I'm curious on how does the Atlas compare to Harris?
