.308 Win R8 match w. 168 grain GGG match ammo

Post by Saugmann »

Caliber: .308 Win

Barrel: R8 match with custom made sound moderator

Stock: R8 professional

Bipod: Javelin/spartan

Scope: Kahles 624i

Ammunition: GGG match with 168 gr Sierra MatchKing

MV: 805 m/s (stated, not measured)

Group at 300 yards: 2 3/8" = 0.8 MOA

I will add that this group was shot as McQueen style with the target visible for 3 seconds.

This was the best group, others were double the size, but probably due to my shooting.

I did shoot this factory load from a bench at 100 yards ince and the groups were nice and tight, sub MOA.

A little scope correction and that will work quite nicely!
It doesn't matter what you shoot as long as you shoot

Yes, accuracy vs. precision or whatever they call it these days... :-)
