Flying door

Post by Olsen »

I was out for a little look on the hunting area today, the sun was shining and I spottet a few roe deer, one little buck.....

Suddently the geese got crazy and the sky was grey of geese and I knew something had disturbed them more than normal :?

Then I could see what, the flying door, the White-tailed Eagle ;)

We have the eagle in area where I live, and I see them very ofen, but every time its a great thing to see :)

Today it just cirkled around and in a short time it was only 100 meter from me, a great bird to see in the air......

But one time, when I was out shooting crows, it came over me only 30 meter from me, and its so big, you have to see it :)

But the geese dont like it and they all get in the air every time it fly over them :(

Very good report Olsen.

Which hunter doesnt enjoy hearing about the local fauna.

Eagles are fascinating birds, and their dominance in the sky and command over other birds makes them interesting subjects of study.

Just a few days back while taking my dogs out for a walk, they put to wing a Peahen. She had taken off and was in good flight when out of no where .. . . BANG . . . a small hawk we call the SHIKRA caught its head in its talons and brought it down. The peahen must have been at least five times bigger than the hawk, but that did not bother this daring creature :)
