Hi out there. Just set up a GunPal account. Anyone have any experience? Good/Bad? Auction arms/NRA is promoting the service from what I can tell.
Thanks,
Greg

Re: Anyone Using GunPal?
I have thought about setting up an account, but I am still just using money orders for guns and gun related items.

Yes, I prefer a money order or certified check too but it seems like more and more folks want to pay with plastic. I could have sold several custom guns times over if I'd have been able to take credit. It's hard enough to part with my toys without agonizing over it for months waiting for a buyer or dropping prices to get a cash buyer. I just hate to make a deal on an expensive gun without trying GunPal out. Don't want to ruin my perfect feedback.

I haven't used it but I see no reason not to. I haven't opened an account but will do so pretty soon. You mentioned the plastic issue. There is another one where people want their money right now. I've done a bunch of deals over time via Paypal and the seller paid the 3% out of his cut because he wanted the money quickly. At the same time it saved me the hassle of going and getting the cash, then a MO and then mailing it Priority Mail with Confirmation Delivery. In a couple of seconds it's done, versus running around for a couple of hours, wasting your time and gas and the cost of the MO and mailing.
I hate supporting Paypal but they do get it done. Just can't say 'gun, ammo' or anything those Kommies can determine means a prohibited item. I'd rather support Gunpal since they aren't anti-2nd Ammendment. So I'll definitely be opening an account. Don't think that Auctionarms and the NRA would be promoting them if they hadn't checked them out to their satisfaction.
FWIW I have a seperate bank account that I use for Paypal. I'll probably run my Gunpal through it also. It safeguards my regular account from getting hacked or something else going wrong.

Here is a thread I found on GlockTalk about gunpal, and it doesn't shine a very pretty light on it.

sounds like a good Idea to give it a miss. Always very suspicious of any thing like this good pick RM might make a good investigator out of you yet........

Measure it, when it’s on the deck
