Cases for scopes

Post by Gun Barrel Ecologist »

Anyone using a pelican case for scopes that are too wide to fit in a 1700 without rubbing the turrets?

I was looking at the Pelican Storm Case iM2306 but the cheapest I've found them on Amazon is $150 US + $200 US shipping :o

At that price a Stanley toolbox and a trip to Clark rubber for foam seems like a better idea

The super cheap auto knockoff pelican cases.

They come with pluck foam already in them and they are great value, especially when on sale.
I use them for my portable reloading setup and to store ammunition.
I'm soft and I don't care.

You mean the ToolPro @ SCA and CraftRight @ Bunnings cases - yep I used the smallest of the former to carry to MTMs full of 100 rounds of ammo to Africa and back. Trouble is they dont make a 6 x 6 x 16" case, only a 14 x 18 x 6 case
