Innomount Multirail - Steyr SBS/ prohunter?

Post by Gun Barrel Ecologist »

Wondering if the Multirail that allows use of Blaser saddlemounts on non Blasers is made to fit Steyr Prohunter / Classic SBS rifle actions?
From memory this rifle uses Browning A bolt bases - the receiver is flat.

The Tikka edition has also a flat bottom, so maybe You have to drill some new holes for the screws, but it should work...
life is too short for not having the best equipment You could buy...

Steyr SBS Prohunter, from my recollection was round. Not circular but also not flat.

"Rounded", correct. But not stepped (where a rear base has to be thicker than the front base) like a Rem 700 or 98 Mauser - so "flat" along it's length ;)
