Hi mate, that price sounds about right for a Selous.
I handled one about a month ago at the factory.
An absolutely stunning rifle. The colour case hardening has to be seen to be believed.

Blasermania had one. I thought it was 416Rem. Yes great looking gun. I'm not sure it shoots any better than my bush bashed R93 though. Would I pay the money? - No way. You could get a K95 and BD14 for that price.

That's cheap. There was a secondhand K95 baroness for sale in NZ a while back NZ$35,000.

This ad? http://www.ozgunsales.com/listing/42739 ... elous.html

Interesting that it points out the mounts are new, but presumably the rifle is a demo model that's been to every shot show and had a few rounds put through it

The notion of a Safari barrel without sights has me :confusion-scratchheadyellow: The Selous stock and action are bigger and chunkier to soak up the .416Rem, not sure it's needed for the .375 but it should balance nicely with the heavy profile safari barrel.

Once you get into the non standard profile barrels, and upgrade the wood classes the $$s soon stack up
