Re: New brake fitted
Vais is still my favorite, but thats because I can shoot it without permanent hearing damage without muffs.
But the Terminator works the best on recoil hsnds down.

The rabbits don’t like it to muchJoe338ST wrote:Yep Terminator brakes are the bees knees of brakes. Simply the best recoil reduction you can get. All of Greg's videos show how his brakes smash the others. Love the way your 338 lap tracks with it...
Joe.
Measure it, when it’s on the deck

Re: New brake fitted
I could shoot my 375H&H without hearing protection with the Vais muzzle break.
Not for 20 shots at the range, but when hunting I had no problems at all and the recoil was more like a 30/06.

That's pretty cool....But can't be good for one's hearing in the long term....

God no, but shooting any rifle without hearing protection isn't good.Joe338ST wrote:That's pretty cool....But can't be good for one's hearing in the long term....

But strangely it doesn't sound any louder or feel worse then when un breaked.

Do brakes impact accuracy? (I'm not talking about the reduction of flinching incidents)

Thank you for posting this! I am getting a t3 for my r93 300 rum. Is your barrel the standard 17mm? Thank youdeerhunter338mag wrote:Just picked up my R93 300wm barrel with the new T2 Terminator brake fitted. The old brake was ok but there’s no comparison to the Terminator brakes. Now to test it to make sure it all shoots the same which I think it will. Then off to nail a Sika with it.

Re: New brake fitted
It’s not going to make the barrel anymore accurate than what it is. But what it does do is allow the rifle to track nicely in order to shoot a nice tight group with puncher cals. If you have a good brake like a Terminator on you will be able to watch your target been hit through the scope. In someway It does improve accuracy as it allows the full potential of the barrel with out the punch.Pbr56 wrote:Do brakes impact accuracy?
