R93 300wm 811 meters

Post by deerhunter338mag »

Got out this morning for a bit practice with the 300wm out to 811 meters. She’s starting to shoot really well atm. Gone is 400mm x 300mm.

The camera looks pretty good, fast zoom and good stability.
I'm soft and I don't care.

Thanks very much, out 15 shots I hit the gong 11 times. Misses where bugger all and still would be kills. Gong is 400mm x 300m I’m using the 210gr VLD hunting from berger’s. Very accurate projectile.

You are well set for Sika then. I used bergers in my 7mm mag and was very impressed with their accuracy and performance on game. The 210gr will smash sika!

Fingers crossed. Mate is taking his R93 7mm mag as well. He’s loaded up the 168gr vid hunting in berger’s. Wow they are extremely accurate.

I bought a tilt and pan cradle for my camera will be interesting to see how it goes out in the field . I haven't had a chance to play with it long range.

Hmmm.... and I just found a new 300wm bbl for the R93. The dream of an 8x68 is proving difficult. This could be a fine option.
