Drilling Cartridge Pouch

Post by 9.3x64 »

Hi all,
Is anyone aware of where I may purchase a cartridge pouch that holds 3 different types of cartridges ?
Something suitable to use with a drilling.

Thankyou Oscar I will, though when I visted him recently I thought Klaus told me they were no longer available.
But I may have misunderstood him.

Sorry Alan, I've been out stripping the velvet off the antlers. Yes the guys have it. I bought 4 off Klaus. They are brilliant, and I've got the green cordura. I have either my 7x57R and 12G or my 7x65R and 12G. I just checked and 20g is still nice and tight in the elastic and if I had my 22Mag einstecklauf I'd drop them between but not in the loops of my centrefire. Anyway looks like you are onto the good stuff so enjoy.

I have a Parforce drilling belt carrier that has places for 20 ga shells, 30-06 and 222 cartridges. It works well and was relatively cheap at Franconia. I think the Nigolgh is nicer, higher quality, but also bulkier.

I have the one from Frankonia, always in my pocket. It holds 5x Hornet, 2x 20ga, and 3x '06 or similar. I think it may still be in my Loden Jacke :o If you search for Patronen Etui you'll see many varieties.

I've also got some from Jakele, but they are standard 5x rifle. I use them because you have nothing to rattle or make noise at the moment of truth, and they are easy to grab in a hurry. I also use the buttstock cartridge carriers. Rather have a few too many shells with me and not need them . . .

I ended up purchasing a nice leather Niggeloh pouch from Klaus at Titanium Gunworks. It is of remarkable high quality and has various different inserts.
I got one insert for my BD14 and another for the 500 Jeffery. And thankyou for throwing in a third one Klaus.

Gee they are a useful pouch.

Good stuff. When i was fox and fallow hunting on the weekend it makes it very convenient to throw 2 pouches in.
