Ebay Shopping

Post by retrieverman »

I absolutely hate clothes shopping and pretty much wear a garment until my wife makes me throw it away. Though I have bought a few pairs of jeans and shirts off Ebay in the past, I am fixing to start doing so on a regular basis. I just bought 2 shirts and and a pair of jeans tonight and saved a bundle this time.Image

Last weekend in Dallas, I bought a Columbia PFG "fishing" shirt at Academy for $40+tax, but I just bought 2 of them off Ebay for $40 shipped to my house. I generally pay $26+tax for my Wrangler jeans, and I just bought one pair for $14.50 shipped.

If I can "save" money like that on a regular basis, I can easily justify more gun and scopes.Image

Just as long as you don't go naked the rest of society will be happy! :o :naughty:

But yeah I've bought most everything on Ebay and saved money. Been buying Wranglers there for years. Even the Tempo spray that the local pesticide house wouldn't sell me because I wasn't a licensed applicator. So I saved money on it and didn't have to leave home to get it!

Tempo is an over the counter insecticide and doesn't require a license. Somebody doesn't know their business in your area. :?

That is true from what I understand. However they wouldn't sell it to a 'citizen'. Just a 'prick' thing. Too stupid to realize that it cost them profits...

I've saved thousands shopping on eBay over the years. Since they quite allowing sales of gun barrels, etc., I don't shop there as much but still visit occasionally. I had a recent success at "sniping" there; outbid someone on a high end scope in the amount of $1.55.

I have bought 2 Swarovskis off Ebay in the last couple of weeks, and it appears that no one is spending money on scopes right now. I paid more than I really intended for the first one but still about $550 less than Cameraland, but I pretty much stole the second scope.
