Greetings from the Pacific Northwest
Hi all-
My name is Ron and I'm very happy to find BlaserBuds as a community and a wealth of information. I have lived in the Seattle, WA area since I was a preteen and enjoyed the wealth of outdoor activities here from salmon fishing to pheasant hunting and deer hunting in this diverse state. In recent years, most of my time has been spent with my growing son and daughter enjoying the activities I grew up loving. Attached is a picture of the buck that my son took this past fall in our stomping grounds.
Near term, we are looking to pick up an R8 for chasing deer and will eventually take on an elk hunt somewhere out west. Longer term, I would love to pick up a K95 and maybe even try a roe deer hunt in Europe someday.
Thanks for the warm welcome and the help already provided to my questions. I'm really looking forward to owning and making use of this fine engineering and craftsmanship.

Welcome to Blaserbuds, Ron. Congrats to your son (and you) on his deer this fall. Hunting with my boys and watching them experience success has been the highlight of my past several seasons.
I’ve usually got a few extra Blaser things laying around so holler at me when you get to looking for your R8 stuff.

Welcome aboard and thanks for the info and pic. Nice buck and yes it is a pleasure watching the youngsters grow up in the outdoors. As a side note you can't enjoy that time too much because it won't last long and they'll be earning a living and looking after their youngsters. Life moves awful fast when it shouldn't and drags by when it has no reason to linger.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Just about a month off before we get to go look at some R8’s. I already have the reloading gear and my process for working up a 6.5 CM round that the new gun likes to eat.
