Hello from Texas
I bought a Blaser rifle not too long ago and thought I might be able to learn about it here.

Welcome to the board. We've got a few folks around here who've either owned or still own those particular rifles. They are known to be very accurate.

Thanks. I haven't shot the .338 LM barrel yet but I can say the .308 barrel is just as accurate as any of my 6.5s. My big worry about this rifle is sourcing parts. It's my understanding that it is it's own gun and not compatible with the r93.

Welcome aboard. That looks like a LRS 2 you have. I'm sure Discogodfather will give you some good pointers on that Blaser of yours...

Re: Hello from Texas
Unfortunately its a tac 2. That's why I think part sourcing is going to be problematic at best. It's my understanding that the lrs2 and the tac 2 are not compatible. At least that's what the folks at blaser USA in San Antonio told me. I'm hoping to find some knowledgable folks on here. It works fine now buy I would at least like to have a couple of extra bolt heads. 1 .338 and 1 in .308.

Welcome to the forum, if you do a little search and a read you will see some of discogodfather and his post a very knowledgeable bloke. He also has a couple YouTube videos that can help.
If you post a few more times (7) you should be able to pm him and I’m sure he will help clarify misconceptions.
