Hello Blaser Enthusiasts!

Post by Orion »

I am very pleased to have found the Blaserbuds web site.

I have been hunting with Austrian and British rifles over the years. I have owned Steyr Mannlicher Luxus, Mannlicher Schoenauer, Rigby and Mauser rifles and Broewning superposed shotguns. Recently I bought a used, like new Blaser R8 Professional Success (green stock) in 7mm Remington Magnum - standard barrel with no sights. I'm hooked on Blasers!

After 10 posts, I plan to advertise this barrel to sell or exchange it for a 7mm Rem Mag with sights or a .270 Win with sights, magazine and bolt head.

Your team has done really wonderful work in creating this site which includes so many useful articles and unending wish lists.

Thank you!

Welcome aboard. Saw you want to sell or trade for the same caliber barrel but with sights. You might call Blaser USA and ask Andre what they charge to install sights. If your barrel is like new I wouldn't fool with trading unless you just get lucky and find somebody who has what you want and he doesn't want the sights. If Andre can't do it I am sure he can recommend a smith that will do a very good job.

Not many 270 Win barrel come through here so you'll need to pay close attention.

Good luck on your new addiction. Won't take long and you'll wonder what happened...
