(Notes) I was chasing 2700 fps with this but am probably an insignificant amount short. It is a big improvement over Norma 165 Oryx factory ammo which couldn't get to 2600 fps, although the Norma accuracy was acceptable at around 1 MOA.
I have been frustrated trying to get this powder/bullet combo to produce the accuracy that I knew the rifle could produce. Ditto for my 308 bolt action.
More jump was the answer.

Yes, pretty pleased with the eventual result. Definitely my 308 Sambar load.

Trouble is that since I got my 7x65R K95 four years ago I have used it almost exclusively. I'm going to have to make a definite effort to use the Stutzen. So far its only victim is a large wild dog.

I got great accuracy and an even 2700fps with 8208, but if it's shooting that good no game animinal on the planet is going to notice a few fps less.

Sounds good. My 308 dies arrived today and I've got a packet of 165 accubonds, and partitions so keen to test them out myself.
