Pulsar Quantum Thermal

Post by Olsen »

Just borrowed a thermal hand spotter, Pulsar Quantum, and its a nice little thing

Not allowed in Denmark, for hunting, but its allowed to have it just to spot, when you not hunting.

Might be good to have, if you shoot a deer and it dont drop on the spot

But damn, its a lot of money, and my christmas gift, was the ShotKam, but you only live once

It depends where it falls, I use one to watch the dogs at night when I let them out the front to do their business, it's amazing how little brush it takes sometimes to loose their signature, even at 30m.
Spent a fair bit of time looking for dropped pigs with a FLIR unit to that we didn't find because there was too much ground shrubs and had to wait till the crows found them the next day.
I'm soft and I don't care.

Forget spy planes, telecommunications surveillance and other intelligence gathering, if the military reality wanted to find Bin laden they should have trained some crows.
Crows could be trained to find black holes if they could make little space suits for them.
