3 more fish off my bucket list today.

Post by SPEEDY »

Big day today, I scratched 3 more off my bucket list.

Red tail catfish, 2 50kg hard lugging bruisers.

2 Paku, small then the rest but still the biggest member of the piranha family.

Two Alligator Gar.

And one more Arapaima, not as big as my last one but still a solid 100kg+ fish.

Might add a couple others, the Mekong catfish is about my 3rd biggest and my biggest in a long time.

And this Red tail I cought on a lure, damn I thought I snagged a submarine as he hit it and was pulling faster then the drag so I was getting pulled along the bank till I get my feet set.

Those are some big fish for the tackle used. Is that just a pond you are fishing in?

A fishing park, they have hundreds of them here from bread and butter ponds with catfish and Tilapia for people to fish for a feed to big game fishing parks that have Siamese carp and Arapaima that weigh over 200kg.

Prices vary, usually if they are local or foreign owned and any big game park charges you at least double if your a foreigner. But this park still only cost about $96usd a day bait included.

To put their size into perspective I'm 260lbs so they are very solid fish.
