How to Install the Krieghoff Rimfire Einstecklauf into a Drilling

Post by mchughcb »

I have been meaning to do this for some time. I don't use the 22 Mag barrel much these days but it still shoots straight.

I'd love one of those in 22lr, no need for it but they are cool.

Good question. It slips nicely into the BBF97 too. When lockdown finishes i might take it to the range and see how it performs in a bergstutzen configuration.

That's a very elegant solution to a problem that I don't have. :D

I recall reading an article somewhere about a European who had one for his BBF. The groups were stupid tiny and he had the thing printing pretty much right on top of his rifle barrel groups.

22 mag is a great choice. Much better than 22LR, although I think I would prefer a Hornet to either of the RFs.

The rimfire version is easier to install, or remove than the centrefire.

I'd go the 22lr, perfect for small game and putting down wounded game, and for anything bigger then that's why you have the actual rifle barrel.

I got some packets of 22 mag subs which gives it 22 lr power. Need more? Then you have 2200fps 30gr vmax.

That could work too, quite well I'd say.

And the really big plus with 22Mag - NO RELOADING. :D :D :D

Good video. Thanks. I have an Einstecklauf (not sure what manufacturer it is right now) in .22 Hornet for my Heym drilling, but haven't had it fitted yet and wasn't sure exactly what needed doing.
