Early Christmas present

Post by Oscar »

Well it’s Christmas Eve and one of Santa’s Helpers let me open a present early. Cooking link, a proper vacuum sealer  .

Already tested on the stuffing made for tomorrow ( always make more) and it works a treat!

However you spend yours, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

That would make the best incubator for making malt rice.
I'm soft and I don't care.

That is one serious cryovac machine. At $1200 AUD it must work really well.!

Wow Oscar, that’s a great Christmas gift.
Life is too short to hunt with an ugly dog.

So quick update......mmmmm how to ensure link to cooking

Ok, the Alaskan and calico game bags packed down a treat with this...no weigh saving but cut down about 20% more than previous vac sealer.

Also, have used it a couple of time to sous vide a few meats. Certainly worked a treat on marinated chicken wings and venison ribs! Am looking to try this method out more with game meats.

Have a happy new year to all! I will be firing up the wood fire pizza oven tomorrow night to bring in the new year with some friends in a COVIDSAFE way.

Cheers
