Re: Well I suck my you know what in it again
It should be, right now I'm chasing some Brenneke slugs to try through it for larger game, but my current slugs work good on Fallow and are very accurate in everything I've tried them in so far.
I'm really keen to see how it patterns too, and what kind of range it will hold a pattern too. I'm particularly interested in seeing how well it swings and shoots with the front sight instead of a bead.
But I think what I'm looking forward to is hunting hogs with a truly traditional gun, truly traditional ammunition and with the traditional handicaps of both to make the hunt that much more enjoyable.

I hunt, I shoot, I camp, I fish. They are the great reset buttons in my life.

Nice looking shotgun!
It doesn't matter what you shoot as long as you shoot

Got a rail made for it so I can scope it for pig hunting, should be a great 100m pig smasher.
Hits an 8" gong every shot with my home made slugs so it's cheap to shoot bulk lead at them.

Didn't have to damage the gun either, the gunsmith just tapped a 2nd hole in the cut out the folding sight goes in so the gun is completely unmolested.

I'm impressed you can shoot it that well out to 100m. Very cool gun to own.

What impressed me was how often you would hit the gong at 100m and it would hit it so hard it would break the chain holding it.
That kind of force gives you some confidence.

Probably should put the pics in here of its 1st kill too, it's a gun that will always keep the freezer full of something.

You doubt wrong, left a trail you almost had to wade through.
Lots and lots of claret to follow, just follow the red brick road.
