What is the process to purchase a rifle barrel from a dealer in England and having it shipped to the US? Idea on cost? Thanks.

Re: Importing an R93 barrel
Barrels are controlled in the UK and not controlled in the US. But their importation might be.
You will probably not get an answer from the BATF.
You can pay an importer to bring it over for you, but you will pay a lot for that.
The odds are very high that unless it is a big London Gun House that does this daily, they will not do it. Stockmakers in the UK can not export a stock to Germany without a lot of gay sex, sand and epoxy.

Thanks for the reply. I am finding what you say to be true. It’s stupid, but not surprising given the UK’s firearm stance.

For what its worth, be easier to go this way. I had Elmer make my 338Rum Barrel for my R93 and its been flawless. The guy that has this company was trained by Elmer.
