Swarovski Range TA questions

Post by Gamsjagd »

Does it measure the hypotenuse or the straight line measurement?

I have it set up for MILS and keyed in my 8x57 Geco load.

I just don't understand what I am getting for vertical for angle shooting.

Pretty sure its always the balistic solution with angle compensation, so its the balistic distance to target, not the actual distance to target.

That’s great news thank you couldn’t find that, but I kept digging and eventually got the roundabout way there was not explaining to me as well as you explained it. I have the loepold 1600 As well, it actually works on that process. I figured they were the same and they are and that’s good to know.
