Solid. A good value. I have several leica scopes and all have performed well. You’ll be happy with the amplus. It will not differ much from the most expensive scopes until the light gets very low.

Re: Leica Amplus 6 Scopes
My only complaint on mine is that the dot is not viewable in daylight. I asked Leica about it to verify that was the way it was supposed to be, and they confirmed that it was meant only to be seen in low light. I was surprised to hear that based on every other brand of scope I have with a center red dot (Swarovski and even Leupold), their dots can be seen easily in any light.

Yes, Leica considers illumination as strictly an aid for low-light shooting. Neither my Amplus 6 3-18x44 or my older ERi 2.5-10x42 have daylight-bright illuminated center dots. Pity, because my Amplus 6 has a very busy ballistic reticle with fine wires, and would greatly benefit from a bright red dot for woods hunting. It’s a nice scope, but really only suited for plains hunting or target shooting in my opinion.
By the way my Vortex Razor LHT 3-15x42 also (surprisingly) has an illuminated dot that is not daylight bright. But its reticle is much easier to see against a cluttered background than my Amplus 6. It’s an excellent all around scope.

I have the exact scope. Yet to use it for a new project I'm currently building. Just have to wait for that one.
Measure it, when it’s on the deck
