Case Tumbling Media
Looking for a tumbling media that won’t leave a fine coating of dust on cases after firing. Have tried dryer sheets cut into pieces and also some polishing additive, but that only helps marginally.
Appreciate the recommends.

Have you considered wet tumbling with stainless pins?

Re: Case Tumbling Media
I use corncob (not walnut), and have used Frankford Arsenal, Lyman, and Dillon corn cob media with no issues. I also use Frankford Arsenal or Flitz brass polish in the media - perhaps it knocks down the dust.
As previously mentioned, wet tumbling with pins does an awesome job, but I only do that with larger batches because it takes longer (drying time), and I ususally am cleaning only 20-40 cases at a time.
Regards,

I have had good results with dryer sheets and adding about 4 tablespoons of mineral spirits to walnut hull media. I do batches of about 100 rifle cases.

I am a stainless pins guy. I have hundreds of every caliber of brass though and batch it pretty anal retentive on it.

I switched to stainless pins and never looked back. I gave away all my walnut and corncob and the tumbler. I found some nice tricks that make wet tumbling painless and easy.
Besides, shiny brass shoots flatter, hits harder and kills faster.
