Any idea how far off the factory ammo and next list is?
Cheers mate² :-)

Yes, I do have an idea - but, hell, I have no idea how good they do listen to me...

Seriously, I do expect the stuff circa in March 2011.

Please don't ask any further (I'm locked like an oyster)...

...here it is:
Commercially loaded 8,5x63/R ammo coming soon. Til then, the 8,5x63 R is dropped.
So please wait for next caliber list...
Good to know. A bbl in this caliber is still next on my wish list.

I have a K95 barrel in 30R that I bought used. Came with a brake that I'll remove and install my suppressor. I also have dies and a ton of brass. I think the former owner loaded it hot. I'll use .30/06 data and heavy bullets.

You can start with 30-06 AI data and you will have a closer starting point. Reloader 22 may be the best and there are other good powders out there.

Hi Akmatt,

I have a K95 in 8x75RS and I am very happy with the performance. Still have about 40 RUAG factory rounds left. Bought about 60 MEN shells in 8 x75RS as well. Will have to start reloading eventually.
The 8x75RS is one of nicest calibers I owned.

cheers

Hi, first post here!

I ueed to have a K77 in .30R Blaser many moons ago. Sold it stupidly enough to buy something else but it is one of the few rifles I actually miss. So now I’m in the market for one.

It kicks a bit but not bad, allthough mine had a Deccelatator pad which helped a bit. 11,7 gram CDP bullet travelled at 940 m/s if I remember correctly?

I killed everything from red fox to fallow deer with mine and they dropped perfectly.

So I think I want one in the same caliber or maybe 8x75RS, we’ll see? Bbl’s are not easy to find in Germany but surface now and then. Bad thing is that Germans like to Magn-a-port their Blasers rather than opting for a caliber they can handle? But I always shoot with active ear protection so I’ll be fine.

Some old pics of my K77 and a trophy.

Cheers!

I hunted with a guy recently that had a fully engraved 8x75R in a Blaser 77. carved stock amazing wood. Everything you would ever want.

He put a silencer on it, but other than that it was amazing.

Because we have to mostly shoot lead free bullets he worked up a load with a 140 grain copper bullet. Was hell on whatever he shot with it.
