Blaser S2 Safari in 500 NE New Stock
Well I finally got to fire the beast with the new right hand stock and it shoots okay. What is even better is that 40gr of Trailboss pushes the 570gr projectile at 1061fps which has the kick of a 308Win so I'l be testing the accuracy of the load with a scope.

And you wouldn't believe , somebody turned up with a standard S2 500NE for sale.l with custom ghost ring.

I intend to shoot a sambar deer with it. That will be the mission for next 12 months. Depending on work may do a buff hunt.

That sounds like a ton of fun. I was comparing the current cost of buffalo hunts in your part of the world with the costs of hunting in the early 80’s when JD Jones and Larry Kelly were hunting buffalo as pest control with their hand cannons. In hindsight, it looks like a golden era of big game hunting.
