The Twins
Here is a picture of the twins, they are not identical twins and they sometimes do not get along, but one thing they do agree on is that they take a dim view of anybody messing with their daddy.

Re: The Twins
Very nice Ron, but they dont look like you have packed them anywhere. I'll try to post the pick of the one I carry on a daily bases, not quite as pretty as those two.
Here is one of my "beaters" I carry this one pretty much everday I'm home my other P7 is in a little better shape.

They are just house guns, they do not like to go outside!

Re: The Twins
Very nice, I especially like the wood grips.
I had a very early P7, the one with the European heel magazine release.
The grigger guard was not as big and it did not have the plastic heat shield.
It shot great, it was one of if not the most accurate 9mm handgun I have ever shot.
I would not mind the "fat" P7 for a uniform holster gun but I like the single stack much better for concealed carry.

Re: The Twins
Took possession of my new P7 M8 today, which is new in the box. I have wood grips on order for it. I'm thinking of buying another M8 and or M13, to put away and keep as new.
I forgot how much I liked the P7, but it's found it's way home.

Yep, have a P7M8. My favorite thing about it is that you're forced to grip it front-to-back, so you're squeezing the grip in-line with your arm, shoulder(one-hand shooting), finger and target. No side squeezing or jerking to one side or the other when the trigger breaks. Great pistol. BTW, those wood grips look sharp, still have factory grips on mine.

Re: The Twins
I am going to take on of mine to Texas this month, and run about 500 rounds through it. Try to get it broke in a little better.

Bring both of them. We will do some two handed shooting....
I had a P7 for quite a while. I really liked it, even though it was a 9mm.

Anyone got the skinny as to why H&K stopped producing them. I was lucky enough to come across a new one while looking for something else one day at a local shop....and of course, Christmas was right around the corner and all.

Re: The Twins
The DFW Airport SWAT team used them for several years.
While I prefer a Custom 1911, in 45 ACP, my favorite 9mm is a H&K P7.
