Yamaha Big Bear

Post by retrieverman »

My 4 wheeler reached a milestone this week. The odometer reached 7500 miles.

I bought this ATV brand new in September of 2004, and I have not had a minutes trouble with it since. I change the oil regularly and have had the brakes replaced twice. At 5800 miles, I finally bought a new set of tires. I ride this 4 wheeler nearly every day, and it has never let me down.

I look forward to posting another milestone at 10,000 miles.Image

The secret to your success might well be that you use it regularly. I was at a polaris dealer a few years ago and he was telling me the Railroad guys put 30,000 on their polaris 4 wheelers. I didn't think they'd ever last anywhere close to that. Key is using them and maintaining them properly. Kind of like everything else! My 2001 Polaris has barely a couple hundred hours on it. Not even sure of the miles. Until we moved it got used in hunting season and once a year on a bike ride in New Mexico. I use it a bit more frequently now but still not enough. Yours still looks very good. Speedometer looks new!
