Corjack Does Dallas Safari Club Convention

I made a surprise visit to the Dallas safari club convention today. Had a great time, will be going back tommorow. Here are a few pictures.

They work pretty damn slick, break down in two pieces in a second. Look a little awkward, but I believe looks are decieving.

I'm hoping they have one in Toronto next week at a booth there.

I think they a are AOK, if Retrieverman had been there he would have bought one. Heard rumor that TJBACKDOC did buy one. Comes with a single set trigger. The gun pumps forward, rather than too the rear, so that when you fire it, the slide is recoil assisted. A very novel idea. The factory reps name was Danial, he used to work for Blaser. Seemed like a very fine fellow, not sure he had ever met a real hillbilly before, but he loosened up quickly.

Man, I am jealous, but I had a big job to do today and even got paid for it. I had thought about trying to come up tomorrow, but my Grandfather fell (may have had a stroke) and was life flighted to Tyler. He is bleeding in his brain and will probably need surgery. My Aunt and Uncle found him and had to leave in a hurry with the ambulance, so I have to go to his house and repair the window they had to break to get in.

Keep posting pictures so I can at least see how much fun I am missing.

I handled one last month. Not my cup of tea. I'd go a remington 7600 for 1/6th the price. I didn't like how the mag was inside the action either.

Gentlemen,
I was happy to meet several BlaserBuds people.

Alex Roy had a very professional looking booth. I had a chance to visit with him a little bit. I would not hesitate to do business with him.

A few of the BB folks "snuck" in to the DRSS [Double Rifle Shooters Society] Cocktail Party, ....

However many of them are members of DRSS and BB.

That Heym I am holding is Ivan Carter's 600 Nitro.

He will be using it in his future hunts. He has been using a 450 3 1/4" Heym for over 15 years.
I have known him for many years, he is a veryh nice, first class kind of guy.

TJ did tell me he bought one of the K gun pumps, but I do not recall what calibre.

Corjack diod not have those 3 girls with him at the show...

But local News stories are talking about 3 girls found tied up at a local Truck Stop...

Seems they do not want to press charges... They just want BIG DADDY and his little dog to come back for them.....
