For convex (round) edges, I use a leather strop mounted on a board, with compound added. Then I just strop, with little pressure.HunterAU wrote:I have a knife with a round edge.. how do i sharpen that one?

Some others use fine grit sandpaper on a computer mousepad. Seems to work, too.
The trick is to strop carefully, and with little pressure, or it screws up the edge.
