Sharpening knife

I have a knife with a round edge.. how do i sharpen that one?

Do i cut it back to a V edge or will that fornicate the knife?
Shoot First, measure them later.

For convex (round) edges, I use a leather strop mounted on a board, with compound added. Then I just strop, with little pressure.

Some others use fine grit sandpaper on a computer mousepad. Seems to work, too.

The trick is to strop carefully, and with little pressure, or it screws up the edge.
