Corjack Goes To Reno SCI
I am attending the SCI show in Reno Nevada. The flights were terrible, got delayed and canceled twice, lost my luggage and I still do not have it, got here a day late, could have drove here in that length of time. Had a nice meeting over dinner with Kevin at BlaserUSA, had not met him before, my impression of him has taken a more positive note since meeting him face too face. Met Norbert as well and he seemed very nice.
On the subject of the R8, we will need to back up and take an objective look at it.
1. While I do not care for the trigger assembly coming out with the magazine, it was the only way they could engineer the magazine to hold one more round than the R93. It has two very positive locks holding it in and can be loaded from the top for normal everyday use.
2. The cam surface of the locking lugs is a much greater angle that will lock up in a more positive manner with less effort, decreasing the possibility of not haveing the bolt in full battery position.
3. They have added a second locking lever for the secondary lock up, as opposed too the one in the R93
4. They had too increase the barrel and bolt diameter to accomodate the 500 Jeffery round and to position these larger rounds to feed in a good manner more directly into the chamber.
I was informed they WOULD be making the R93 for several more years to come, so those of us with a major investment in the R93 need not be concerned.
I have placed an order for an R8 proffesional, and it should be here sometime in the last quarter of the year.
Ran into Captain Dave, Chopperguy and NE450 nu 2. One of them acted pleased to see me. Oh well, one out of three aint bad.

Re: Corjack Goes To Reno SCI
I had always wanted to join the mile high club, but the stewerdess informed me that usually involved a partner and made me stop, said it was bothering the other passengers!
Is it me, or are people just overly sensitive these days?

Re: Corjack Goes To Reno SCI
I met Mr. Bernhard Knobel yesterday, it was a very positive meeting and I think that along with Mrs. Monica and Mr. Mann we have another good friend in Mr. Knobel. Our manner of frankness, honesty and devotian to the products we love, is being noticed by the people that matter. This is good work on the part of all our members and congratulations are in order to everyone involved.
GOOD WORK GUYS!
Mr. Mann will be assisting us in a little project, hopefully we will have it done and posted in the next few months.
