A lot of work for a couple of weekends

Ron, I bought it for less than a hundred bucks through the Craigs list, but it works very well for me. It is made by Central Machrery, China (Whoever hey are). Actually, I bought this sender and a horizontal metal bend saw together for $150. Nothing fancy, but they do their job.

It looked kind of like a Grizzly industrial, one of their main stores and shipping hubs is in Springfield Mo. not far from where I live. Some of their stuff is junk, but some is very good with good prices, you just have to do your homework and sort through it.

I like to play in my workshop. Today I shipped a grip cap to our friend in India to match his bolt knob.

Now you are talkin my kind of manure, I am going to buy a chunk of D2 when I get home, as I have come up with an idea for a neat knife design.

Ron, when is your next squirel hunt? If I am not at a show, than 500 miles is not that bad for a crazy dog Beside of smoking (fish and tobaco) I am good in salad chopping

And why D2?

I have found that D2 holds an edge a long time, the Meneffe knives I was selling can skin and cut up several deer before the need sharpening, but D2 is rather hard to polish.

That is my point. I prefer a little bit more mild steel about 58 RC . I can sharpen it using a ceramic mag or a automotive glass I think if a blade can skin one deer from the beginning to the end, than it is good steel. But it is just IMHO.
