This is a brand new barrel and first time to the range and first shots fired. I don't usually do this but, just for the heck of it, I decided to break this barrel in by cleaning after each shot for five shots, between three shot groups for six shots, and between five shot groups for 25 shots. The first three shot group measured .240", the second three shot group measured .490" and the first five shot group measured .495". This is with no load development in this rifle, I had worked up this load in my McMillan Tubb 2000 previously. See the attached pictures for the first three groups fired in this rifle.
