By now many of you are aware of our http://www.globaloutdoorsman.com media site. This site has a lot to offer you. It lets you upload and save videos, view videos of others, you can upload pictures like photobucket, and have the albums be public or private, and it allows you to create your own blogs. It has many other features that you may find usefull as well. It also has a good secure PM system. I hope you will sign up and use it, and get the maximum enjoyment from it you can. I will continue to tweak and improve the design and layout of this site in the future. so please enjoy!

I can´t seem to upload my videos...
Think I´m dooing something wrong, could one of you pc guys please come and show me what I´m dooing wrong.....

Well if you want you can email them to me and I'll upload them - that is if they're suitable for this crowd! You're just a little too far for me to come over and fix the problem!

I noticed the other night that when I had trouble uploading the first one I didn't have a name in the tag line. You don't need to put a picture in for the video but you do have to give it a tag name.... You'll figure it out... If Ron and I can do it.... maybe you can have Olsen show you?

Just be sure and put something in the tag line, and select a subject, there is only general, It is suposed to generate a thumbnail automatically, I need to find out why it is not.

Try this and let us know where you get hung up.

That's weird. hmmmm must be the way you're holding your mouth....

Once you get into the site you go to "MY HOME". Then down toward the bottom to "UPLOAD MEDIA".

Fill in the blanks with information pertaining to the video. Click on Upload File at the bottom and it'll take you to the next screen. At the bottom of it you'll find a "MEDIA UPLOAD", which has a blank next to it and "BROWSE" next to that.

Then click on browse to find your file on the computer.

Once it's in the blank, click on UPLOAD beneath it and it'll show the upload taking place.

And that's it...

Have no problem uploading it....... It´s as easy as youtube, but the video doesn´t work after it´s uploaded. You can´t see the video, it´s just black screen with dots...

That's a new one on me. I've loaded 4 now and they all seem to be working fine. Haven't run into that problem... Ron will be up and at em soon.. maybe he'll know.

When I go to your page it says that you haven't uploaded any media...

I deleted them again as they didn´t work.....
I can try again and leave it for you to see....

What kind of file are you trying to upload, mp3,wav etc.?

It's not showing that you have any media uploaded at all under your name...

I deletet them after they dont worked

I have a lot of theese pix; The file type "image/bmp"(bmp) is not allowed.

Email me a file with one of your videos, I will try and see what the problem is.
