A lot of work for a couple of weekends

a few weeks ago I received my Namibia trophies, friend of mine got his from Zim. All skulls suppose to be cleaned and bleached over there. Mine are in good shape (more or less), but those from Zim are not. So, there is a long way of cleaning and bleaching. This weekend I cut 17 skulls and made medallions for them. :o
Here are some illustrations of the process:

This weekend I will continue and post pictures of the results

Certainly got your hands full so to speak. Some very nice looking trophies. Can't wait to see the finished products.

Lot of work but you can finish them how you want! I did it the lazy way, should have a shipment in a couple months but had all that work done for me. Some nice Springbock there, where did you hunt for them? Waidmannsheil, Dom.

Hey Dom, you will not beleive, but I hunted the same place as you did: Gras Ranch Namibia. My son shot two gold medal springboks and I shot 9 none thophy (culling) and 2 silvers. It was a nice place to hunt.

Yesterday I finished some more mounts:

I am afraid that now I have to figure out where to hang them. There is no much room left on my trophy room walls.

Probably I have to make a hopeless attempt to sneak somehow into the living room with my trophies.

Looks like a pretty good belt sander you have there. What brand is it?
