Akila Chassis for my Blaser 300 Norma
This combo was phenomenal in my Blaser Pro. Going to try this Akila out.
A big thanks to Jason of Euro for helping me get this together

That’s a pretty hard core setup. What is the purpose of the gauze tape around the front half of the scope?

Pretty easy to bang up the front of the scope, so I use medical wrap for protection

Re: Akila Chassis for my Blaser 300 Norma
I just returned from dialing in the rig with factory Norma berger 230 OTM’s.
Nice adjustments w/o tools, very comfortable and well thought out chassis. The rear monopod very well thought out, with quick adjustment and fine. 13.5# total weight with match barrel etc.
4 rds to get my 100 zero, last 2 touching dead on @100. Instead of popping some steel close up (Cody Gun Club) I ranged one of our plates @ 1109 dialed 7.2 and turned the red light on first round. I then turned to our faithful coyote plate @ 1064 and rang his bell with a center hit with 6.7 mils. 547, 1120 and then a perfect 1.4 hold off @ 400 yds.
Flawless setup, what a hoot to shoot, 13 rds after sight in with 13 hits.
I just renamed my Akila “Akiller” for this hunting season’s LR overlook setup.
I just added the RRS 9.5” dovetail to the m-lok forend and the pro- clamp for my TBAC bipod. Great system for dovetail (ARCA) or picatinny.
This 300 win Blaser is my 8.5 pound rig for hauling into high country, it too is sub 1/2 moa (Barnes Factory 195 LRX)

Euro optics is a good source. They are dealers.

Euro Optics generally only gets rid of things as a retailer side when they are either poor of customer service or very difficult to deal with on the shipping end. Something to consider.

Sweet looking rig there.

Measure it, when it’s on the deck

Re: Akila Chassis for my Blaser 300 Norma
I love your rig! I dipped my toe into the Akila water last month, and was pleased. I emailed them first with question and promptly got satisfactory answers. I then, wanting a way to mount my Jaeger type Blaser to a tripod, ordered the forend, using PayPal. I was alarmed initially, as there was zero further communication from Akila, no receipt, etc, and no replies to my emails. About two weeks later, I received the forend and was very pleased with the quality. I have now order the buttstock. I’m now in the “quiet period” with that, hoping to receive my box from Slovenia soon.

I really like the look of the Akila chassis for an R8. I’m currently looking into getting one imported to the USA.

Someone has already imported them. Maybe easier to find one already there.
