Poor pup

Post by SPEEDY »

My little pup went into labour and had a bad time of it, the 1st and only pup was still born.
She wasn't doing the best so I took her to the vet and she's had an almost 5 hour stalled delivery.
They had to induce and now it's hope for the best.
I'm soft and I don't care.

Good luck mate.
Life is too short to hunt with an ugly dog.

She had two lots of inducing injections and then they were closing for the night, so leave her there and she would be alone from midnight, or take her home.
I brought her home so I could keep an eye on her and at 19:25 only 7 hours overdue a little boy was born and I'm happy to say he's already feeding and crawling around.

Just having trouble uploading photos, I will sort it out tomorrow.

Nope but evidently there was a 3rd because at 20:44 she had another really strong pup and I think it's a girl this time.

It is manure of the vet not to see it through and to close at midnight without sorting it out before hand.
Time for a new vet
Hope she does and recovers well.
Which dog was it ?

It's my little fox terrier.
Vets are doing the best they can but around here it was the best option available, they are down to vets due to covid 19 stopping them atm.
Usually it 24/7.

I still can't upload photos just keeps saying not enough memory but it works fine for Facebook ect.

Another bad turn today, it seems she had a pup die inside her, I had to pull it out by 1 finger with some lube, a lot of lube on it.

Back at the vets now for a follow up and some antibiotics, I don't think we will do this again.
