Christmas day

Post by Oscar »

Not sure about all of you but I will be glad to see 2021 in the rear vision window but Christmas Day regardless of the year needs to be celebrated. Usual fare was consumed but am sitting back relaxing with a Pisco sour! However you spend yours, enjoy and best wishes for 2022!

Cheers

Merry Christmas to all and best wishes for 2022!

We do the big Christmas feast thing on the 24th and today is just the wife and I and the dogs laying around recovering from too much...... Spent most of yesterday cooking a 10kg turkey. I think I'll butcher them sooner next year

Merry Christmas and let’s hope 2022 can become a “normal” new year.

Aldi Turkenducken and mango wine.

Quiet day with the wife and dogs. Nothing's open and nobody can leave. I might even hit the orthodox church and pray for a change in government.

Spent the day with the wife, our 1st Christmas together in 3 years of marriage.
Drank leo beer and a 3 year old rye whiskey I made and have had ageing in a small oak barrel and ate pork ribs smoked over mesquite.
Simple but it was a dame good day.
I'm soft and I don't care.

Great day for us. Cooked up a feast . Chicken soup, sarma , roast pork neck , pork belly and leg of lamb, heaps of veggies and salads then to finish it of traditional home made Croatian biscuits.
With all the kids and their partners and grand parents.
Best parts was having all the kids together and of course no arguments.
