New Take-down Rigby Stalker
"That if you properly respect what you are after, and shoot it cleanly and on the animal’s terrain, if you imprison in your mind all the wonder of the day from sky to smell to breeze to flowers—then you have not merely killed an animal. You have lent immortality to a beast you have killed because you loved him and wanted him forever so that you could always recapture the day." —R.Ruark

Re: New Take-down Rigby Stalker
If I had the spare cash, and it was in 9.3x62 then I'd jump on that one.
Hell if I had the cash I'd get one in 30/06 and in 9.3x62.
Beautiful guns, travel guns don't come much better then that, imagine if you could get that as a switch barrel system.

I'm soft and I don't care.

Re: New Take-down Rigby Stalker
There is a take-down Rigby (Mauser 98 action)in 303 British up this way. I had a play with her about 3 years ago. Lovely rifle made in the 1920/30's. Appartently left behind by some pommy after he finished his term as Governor of Victoria.
