Blaser B2 Optic vs Swarovski
Greetings from Oklahoma!
I am looking at swapping out my Zeiss for an illuminated optic. Just by browsing, it looks like Swarovski seems to be among the most favored manufacturers. I am headed to Bavaria later in the month an considering getting something there. What's the general thoughts on the new Blaser B2 optics?

b2 is pretty average compared to Swarovski. They are cheap as chips, and the quality reflects that.

B1 is closer to a Swarovski V6 ++.
B2 is going to be like a 30mm Ziess V6.

Very little free lunch in the optics world.
Swarovski z6 2.5-15x56 $2400 Euro Optics and 2800 Euros at Frankonia (no discounts available).
Blaser B2 2.5-15x56 $2200 Euro Optics and 1800 Euros at Frankonia (all B2s are heavily discounted, because they don't sell).
Zeiss V6 2.5-15x56 2000 Euros (heavily discounted) can't find a price for one in America.

Re: Blaser B2 Optic vs Swarovski
Blaser builds rifles - the optics are just bought. Swarovski builds ONLY optics - so choose wisely... I don't think this is hard to see: just take a look and compare them - my decision is clear for the Swarovski without a second of doubt...
life is too short for not having the best equipment You could buy...

Re: Blaser B2 Optic vs Swarovski
No idea on B2 but my B1 is my single favorite scope. It is expensive as hell.
I am on the fence on the B2 as I would rather get another B1(58mm). Have a bunch of Swarovski scopes - z6 z5 z3 - they are excellent scopes.
Been buying S&B scopes recently. Can definitely see a lot of S&B in the blaser scopes given bender’s association. I do think blaser (or owning parent) builds their own scopes.

Blaser scopes

Minox scopes

Hans Bender was - but I m not sure is ceo of holding company that makes blaser and minox scopes. Holding company is owned by the owners of blaser. Why you see a lot of S&B features in blaser scopes.
I assume all glass for blaser and Swarovski is bought from schott which is owned by Zeiss.
I planned on getting a minox all rounder but eurooptic has a S&B 50% off so I decide to buy a couple of those.
