Blaserbuds; the worlds superlative information source, for these products

Looking for a relatively light (compared to my heavy NF scopes) for my R8 300 win Western hunting, Elk, deer, antelope etc.

I like FFP scopes but usually dial past 300 yds…intrigued by the x5i. Running 20 moa rings and want to be able to dial beyond what the z8i provides.

Turrets? Audible, positive? - repeatable?

Glass? Similar to z6i?

Any opinions appreciated.

Please no comments on game distance ethics. I shoot steel long for practice and try to get as close as possible for game

I have not seen him on YouTube in quite a few years, but he used to have the best Optics reviews.

I would (just if You want the very big BT or the tough housing, I would always choose the Z8i as they have the most brillant and sharp optics from all Swarovski editions and any other brand. The X5 is nice, but especially for hunting, the Z8i is much better from the optical side - and even with heavy recoil calibers such as .470 NE or .500 N.E. - my customers never gave me a feedback or problem with the Z8i...
