Sauer 404 Canvas case cover

Finally my sauer 404 case/Negrini cover is finished. Hopefully gives other members ideas.

Went with two layers of 14oz heavy duty canvas , two large cotton bath pillows sowed in( Covers bottom , both long sides of the case and half of both sides where the zipper is ) .
Heavy duty zipper and she went and created the velcro covers on each end of the zipper and made the leather on top velcro also.

Feels really sturdy and tough. Next test is for the baggage handlers!

Case weight 2.5kg
Case and Cover 3.39kg
With rifle, scope , sling , neoprene cover for the scope and sock for the barrel and receiver inside will be around 8.3kg

Another small case for ammo with 3 boxes will come to 2.3kg

I was curious - can you put a Sauer 202 in the the Sauer 404 hard case?

I do not have a 202 to try for you but if you can send me the measurement i can measure mine and see if it will fit.

Edit : I read on a forum that it does fit with minor adjustments

Might be best to send Negrini an email, surely they can let you know which case they currently have that will fit the 202 without having to do minor adjustments with the 404 case.
